HCF is a health fund that aims to see its members keep healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle, the Type 2 Diabetic program is offered at no extra cost.

Participants in the recently completed Healthy Weight for Life Program have showed major improvements in their weight, health and lifestyle.

Program Outline

Provided by Prima Health Solutions, the program is a structured 18 week, 3 phase weight loss action plan. It is designed to help people lose weight and provides them with the lifestyle skills require to maintain their weight loss. It does not however, replace the advice given by your medical practitioner or healthcare professional.

It combines:

• KicStart™VLCD - a very low calorie diet meal replacement
• TEMplate System™ - dietician developed, eating and lifestyle modification program
• Online Education Modules - series of 9 educational lectures and downloadable information sheets

The program's components include:

• Enrolment and registration
• Provision of kits for the duration of the program
• Help in setting achievable goals
• Web based education and coaching
