HCF Healthy Weight for LIfe Heart Pilot Program

You will be eligible for participation if you:

• have been diagnosed with a cardiovascular condition, have a body mass index (BMI) > 27 and you are under medical supervision
• have an HCF hospital product that you have held for at least 12 months
• have obtained approval from your medical practitioner to participate
• have no allergies or intolerances to KicStart ingredients (see KicStart™VLCD information)
• are not pregnant or breastfeeding or intending to become pregnant during the 18 week program
• are willing to provide data over the course of the program on:
  • Weight
  • Waist circumference
  • HbA1c
  • Blood pressure
  • Cholesterol
  • Related medication changes
• have regular internet access and a personal email address for receiving follow up information and reminders
• are 25 years and over
• are motivated and able to complete the 18 week program
