Peoplecare's Strive for Health program was developed to help their members manage their health conditions by providing them with extra support. Members with hospital cover who also meet a few other conditions are eligible to receive the benefits of the Strive for Health program. How can Strive for Health help you?

Strive for Health is designed to help you better manage your health in between doctors’ visits by providing:

•  A registered nurse who you can speak to confidentially about your health condition. Your nurse will advise you how to better manage your health and stay out of hospital. They will call you regularly to discuss how to improve your lifestyle and quality of life by identifying the best approach for your health condition. They'll also help you identify warning signs and show you what steps to take to prevent an emergency that might lead to a hospital visit.
• Access to a qualified nurse 24 hours / 7 days a week, so you can receive medical advice without a long wait to see your doctor. Strive for Life's 24 hour telephone advice service is available to all program participants.
• Support and information relevant to your particular health condition, including improving your understanding of your medications.
