Health Management Benefits
All Peoplecare Extras cover pay benefits for approved health management programs which aim to prevent or improve a specific health condition.
Health screening services like blood pressure testing, cholesterol checks, mammograms and hearing tests can be claimed.
Member care options
Member Care Options allow you to choose where to recover after a hospital stay - at home or in hospital. If you choose to leave hospital early, Peoplecare will pay for healthcare and other services to help you recover in your own home. In some cases, you can even avoid a hospital stay if your doctor believes that we can provide the services you need at home.
Member Care Options is currently available in selected areas, with a plan to extend the program nationally.
Strive for Health
Strive for Health has been developed to help Peoplecare's members manage their health conditions by providing extra support. It's available to members with hosptials cover and a few other conditions.
